Santa Ana winds

            I myself lived in a Southern California area subject to these winds. Mostly it made my house "dusty", or so my mother told me. As a very young teenage boy, I really did not care at the time.

            I have also lived in areas subject to Siberian winds over the Gobi Desert. Even the Yellow  Sea got its name from this weather effect, or so the story goes.
