Chilly arctic winds
Presently I live in east Tennessee at about 36 degrees north latitude.

And spring "has sprung" here, like the birds are really singing more. I even went down to "tune up" my electric plant, which does need some work. Now the high today should be in the 40's, Fahrenheit.  Our cold air comes out of the arctic, through Canada, in my opinion.
Earlier once I lived at around 38 degrees north latitude in Korea. There we had chilly arctic winds from Siberia.  During the winter, that made it pretty cold, especially since I slept in a canvas tent with a dirt floor. We even once went through a period where it never got above freezing for over a month.
So I am thankful to be warm because I wear long johns, plus I do enjoy the birds singing as spring arrives where I live.
Yep, spring is here. And the birds are singing, and making babies, I guess.
