A history question

            I live in an old house. Like it was built circa 1905.

            Well, back then there was still competition between DC and AC electricity. I still have some kind of wiring even suggesting all this. The way I hear things, back then there were like five Edison (DC) electric plants in the little city I now live in, though most things these days are AC, like my refer.

            Now I also have an old AM radio, built in a very large wooden box with a small vernier dial.

            So what is your guess? My intent is to restore it. But is your guess DC or AC?
