            It's probably still early for planting where you live, but now is a good time to start getting ready.

            There are plenty of other links, plus of course you can ask around locally.

            And if you are a neophyte, start out small this year. You can make it larger if you want to, and later, like another year.

            For example, get four used tires, make two piles of two old tires each, fill them with dirt, and in one grow potatoes, and in the other grow tomatoes. There are plenty of links on this subject, plus plenty of people already do this, and can tell you about their experiences.
