Being warm during the early springtime

Presently, I live on the Cumberland Plateau in Tennessee. It is around 36 degrees north latitude and around 1900 feet of altitude. And it gets chilly at night, albeit above freezing.  And I am wearing long johns.

And I recently stocked my wood stove with some recently cut and split chestnut oak hard wood from my yard, which should keep me warm for awhile. That idea is good for my morale.

            That's my point.

I depend on wood where I live, really solar energy, to keep warm at night, and keep my morale up. And all the work to do so does have me sore, too.

So I am happy, all in all.
