Astronomy 103

       What follows are two links on the subject.  The intent is just to help you if times get hard and you want to entertain and teach people, especially kids. And like a language, some of these things are best just memorized. The wiki link is confusing, even to me.

            Of course, you can just memorize some of your favorites constellations, like I enjoy recognizing the big dipper, the little dipper, the lazy W, and Orion, and just teaching them. A good favorite star to know is the north star.  During a clear day, you can do things with the Sun, like telling time using a sundial, for example.
