Germ warfare, American style
As I read American history, the Europeans brought over a lot of diseases to the new world USA, and killed and maimed a lot of people already here, mostly because these diseases were new to those living here already. Said another way, we were not inoculated, and suffered, often dying.
One obvious example is small pox. Even those that survived often had hollowed out noses, like a big hole where the nose used to go.
And my history reading suggests as many as 90% of those here died as a result.
