How to treat malaria infected patients during "hard times", like you can't get to a doctor or drugs made to treat the disease

Probably you don't even know for sure what the sick person has...

Then treat the symptoms as best you can.

Usually that means keeping them warm and hydrated, as best you can. That's the ole fall back for so many things "if times get hard". Then the patient can heal themselves since being warm and hydrated is a big advantage in the healing process.

The symptoms often are periods of chills, followed by periods of sweating. Again, try keep them warm and hydrated, as best you can. Even use mosquito netting if you can, mostly to keep them from getting even worse.

Malaria is not a good disease to get. Often it comes back at weird times, if the patient even survives the first time.
