How about me?

I am all for the poor, but, again, how about me? I am not poor, but do expect someone to represent me.

Call me one of the masses.

And where I live in East Tennessee, I know of many lazy people who live off of others, like me. But while I think they get represented, I still wonder if I do anymore? It sure seems like I am out of vogue, so to speak.

            So how about me?

Even the new Catholic Pope says he is 'for the poor".  Again, how about me?

Eventually people like me will die off, then what happens? Said another way, one can drain the well every so often until finally it goes dry. Even my progeny will probably think this way. I would, and I am a progeny, too.

Of course there is a Plan B, which should be Plan A in other times. In either way, our representatives should think more about our American and human future, long term; than their own future, short term.

In the meantime, I seek trust, faith, and confidence that someone is representing me, including the new Pope. Now days, I am not so sure anymore. Like maybe my vote and faith is just a waste of all our time.

And between public largesse, and good intentions, we may drain our well until other actions are taken. If this comes to pass, I sure hope the masses get to vote, and be represented.
