A homework assignment

          There's much detail one can learn about cutting and splitting firewood. Much of it can be found on the internet, especially with pictures.

          For example, what are good types of saws to get? What are good types of axes to get? How should you sharpen your saws? How do you transport your wood?

          And don't forget good ole human ingenuity. For example, use a kid's wagon to transport wood. Or do your splitting close to the stove(s) to minimize having to move the split wood. Or use two close trees to break smaller wood in between.

          In all cases, be careful. One can get hurt!

          And there's something good for morale like a warm stove to be by.
