Making bread from barley flour

Making bread from barley flour

You can make bread from about any flour.

Expect a few mistakes along the way, is my experience.

Being a Georgia Tech kind of guy, I prefer the term formula vice recipe, but the idea is the same.

Being a Marine means to me rehearsing if I get the chance. And lord knows I have the time and inclination.

Now all I used was water, flour, and some yeast, which you can make at home if you need to.

Now I did add some sesame oil, mostly for the aroma, which I enjoy. And I did slip in some milled flax seed because I thought it might be OK for my health.

And in fairness, usually some fake butter melted into the bread does help my enjoyment of eating the bread.

And of course, I can always feed it to the yard dogs if I don’t like it.
