Armored Vehicles in the Ukraine you may hear about

Armored Vehicles in the Ukraine you may hear about

Here’s some background that may help you:

Poster’s comments:

1)       These Russian made vehicles are crummy by USA and European standards and designs.

2)      They do work, but have some suffering going on with the occupants. Big people suffer more. Mostly they are built for smaller people.

3)      The better variations had European, often British, electronics substituted for the Russian versions. At least that applies to my experience, especially the British Racal gear. As an old HAM radio guy, I wish I had had some of this Racal gear during my HAM (amateur radio) time.

4)      They were still pieces of crap, from my point of view. Go USA and Europe, I would say.

5)      Compared to a truck, they are better than nothing.

6)      Trucks are not too bad, either. That applies to getting people around faster than on foot.

7)      Ships and trains count, too.

8)      Hence one sees a lot of images of small trucks with people and weapons, often small AA (anti-aircraft) guns in the bed of the truck. Obviously, that works, also.

9)      Someone is providing the ammo for these guns, transporting it, and paying for it, too.

10)  Numbers of people count, too.

11)  Morale and dedication counts, also.

12)  Officers, leadership, and dedication to cause, counts, too.
