The new and improved American future

       As the old Bob Dylan song from the 1960's suggested, "The Times They Are a 'Changing".

            Unfortunately, times may have to get hard first. I think of calling it the "dark period", which may last as long as three years, depending on where you live and your situation.  Hopefully, it will be less for most.

            So even for right now, my priorities are to grow some food, and make some electricity, both where I live in east Tennessee.  I assume hunting animals will even run out, so I am back to using snares like our ancestors did, when they had to. Said another way, nobody wants to be cold, wet, and hungry...yet that seems to be the way things are going from my perspective and worse case way of looking at things.

            So first the good news. This is still a plentiful land we can exploit if we want to.  The smart and savvy leaders will survive for them self and their Family just fine.

            Now the bad news. It will be hard work, worse case.

            And last, the neutral news.  We in the USA will elect better leaders than we have today. The present form of constitutional government works to our advantage, at all levels. And the combined effort in this new world USA will make it an OK place for ourselves and our Family.
