Keeping
a clean and healthy environment, and cooking our food to adequate temperatures,
which is above 160 degrees F, is a good and safe idea.
160
F is the usual cooking temperature.
Many
animals, like our dogs, have stomach acids that kill the germs, but we humans
depend on cooking as another way to kill the germs. Hence, while dogs can eat
raw meat, we humans need to cook our food just as a safety measure.
