Breastfeeding for humans

Breastfeeding for humans

Here's a long wiki link on the subject:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breastfeeding

As for this Marine daddy, it was amazing watching a teacher mom just "slap" the baby on the breast of the new mother, and watch "mother nature" take over. It was not too complicated, and definitely not rocket science.

And both baby and momma have done OK, too.

And the way I read the tea leaves, whether the mom is big breasted or small breasted makes little difference to the kid. They (the kid)  just wants to eat. And either way pretty much does wear out most moms, or at least wear them down. Hence take care of their food and health as best you can.

And nobody, including the moms, wants to put up with the feeding schedules for babies that does usually interfere with our routine sleep cycles. And in fairness, some babies "sleep through the night" sooner than others.

Now I know it is a fad of sorts these days to breast feed, but also is something I believe in, too. And for all the right reasons, like the health of the baby or babies, too. Mother nature is simply amazing, to me.
