Thinking of Dave Bernard
He was a
college roommate in my senior year at Georgia Tech.
He dropped
out of school, got drafted, went to Vietnam as an infantryman, came back alive,
and was never quite the same after that experience.
His mother
was of Italian Catholic heritage, and his father was from some country in
Europe and of Jewish heritage.
And he made
a really good spaghetti sauce that I still make today, over a half-century
later. So if his Mom taught him her way to make spaghetti sauce, well the idea
is still alive and well in Tennessee, USA, in my case. So good on ya, and
thanks too. Ya done good!
