Defrosting a refrigerator
I get to do it again. And I know what to
do to make it happen. In this case it is an old 1928 GE refrigerator, and it
does keep the soda and beer really chilly. Said another way, the thermometer
even works well in 2013.
Now many these days may not know how to
do an old fashioned defrosting. I suspect most are lulled by the modern day
designs to evaporate all the defrosted water, which does cost some extra
electricity to make happen, too.
So good luck, plan some time and effort, and
even use a bucket. It is only what our ancestors did in their time.
