Noble idea.....crummy law.....poor implementation.....terrible consequences

I don't fault the shadow government, either

The subject is universal health care. The shadow government is the people that make up our House and Senate staffers that actually wrote the present law about our health care. In my opinion  many  just did what they were told to do by their and our elected politician bosses. And then the Democratic politicians voted to make it a law that applies to all of us, including me. That we had a Speaker of the House saying we had to vote on a law to find out what is in a law is also just an absurd idea to me;  just to add to the chatter.

Now I am generalizing, and I know it. But I also think I am now going to get hurt, and  now die early and miserably because of what has happened, and is happening. The earlier alternatives for health care seemed a lot better, to me.

And perhaps I am just being too alarmist?

Even our federal President now tells us it is patriotic to do what he tells us to do. That he is also influenced greatly by his own White House staff is also becoming more obvious to me.

So I object to what is presently happening to me and others. Mostly I suspect things are just in a present mess, all human caused in the end.

Time for a change I would say. After all, if this is the best our present political system can do, then there are still better legal alternatives, in my mind.  And I will pursue them, and speak to others about my thoughts, also.  Impeachment and revocation and voting and funding  come to my mind as four obvious alternatives. Many  will listen, too. That's how things work at the lower levels, at least to me.

Even basic civics says while one Congress may vote for a law, subsequent Congresses are not obligated to fund the same law. And if there is a veto, so be it. And if there is another party line Senate approval, so be it, also.  At least that will  provide another voting issue with names that is to be decided on using our vote.

And the heck with DC. I live in rural east Tennessee, for example. How about Pittsburg, or St. Louis, or Kansas City, or Seattle, just to name some urban areas. There are lots of "ruled" people in all these areas, as well as the rest of the Country.

I thought my federal vote still counted, too. Volunteering to die early and miserably  and pay more money along the way is a silly  proposition, after all. Nobody I know would volunteer for such. Putting our children and grandchildren through similar thoughts and reality is just dumb, too.

I still appreciate the "line" about what might happen after the employer's mandate gets enforced in a year. It goes something like people will be "hunting democrats using dogs". After all, it was a Democratic party-line vote that began the friction.

I suspect our federal government will not even be able to build enough prisons or finance enough new courts to make it happen using this enforcement idea. If this should even come to pass, then there is something wrong with that picture and "the people" will respond in some manner. Time and short memories will not help.....in fact it may make things worse this time around. After all, nobody I know wants to die early, or think they might. The reminders will be continuing I imagine.

Tasking  the Internal Revenue Service to assist in implementing and trying to enforce this  law's universal health care is another idea I don't recall any politician discussing ahead of time in order for all of us to vote on the idea; or even to contribute our own thoughts and suggestions to our representatives in a timely manner. Volunteer fire fighters and emergency services are two obvious examples.

Nobody wakes up in the morning wanting to do a bad job. In the same vein, nobody wakes up in the morning also wanting to die early and miserably  because of the present poor and messy situation that seems to exist today.

And last is the idea of political rule in the USA these days. Can any President even dictate his own laws and enforcement time tables on the rest of us as he tries to make things better using  his own ideology and methods?  Or does it still take the other  2/3 of our Constitutional and representative government to legally rule?  Or do we have to go along for that matter?

I sense many of us are beginning to wonder? But that is another subject to speak of and write about.

Maybe the "silent majority" will start making some noise, too? It sure seems like it has already started, like the old idea of waking up a sleeping  giant.
