Nelson Mandela's passing is a good reminder to me

       We can work together if we want to, and usually having some leadership to nurture it along sure helps

Nelson Mandela was probably such a person. I did not know him personally.

And call it "mission first". I sense his intent was to build a new Nation, called South Africa in his case. And South Africa is full of people from Dutch, English, Indian, Xhosa, and Zulu heritages, for obvious examples.  There are many others, too, kind of like our USA.

And certainly he suffered in his own way. After all, his time in prison would have been tough.

The new world USA had such a person, too. His name was George Washington. And now we are still a bright shining star in the World thanks to a lot of what he did. Talk about a leader, and leading by example. He did not just talk the talk, use lying or propaganda, or put himself above the law at the time, but sought the mission of the people's good which was often very difficult.

Both of them walked the walk in their own ways and circumstances. And I am one of beneficiaries much later, or so I still believe.

So Nelson Mandela,  go in peace. Ya done good!
