How often do you clean out your woodstove?

         I, myself  "clean" them out when I think they need it.  Our eyeballs and the pile of ashes usually gives me hint, too. It just depends on the situation and stove, like normal.

         As my rule of thumb goes, dumping the ashes is usually around 4 times a year, with the ashes going into the driveway to help maintain it, too.

Now all stoves have their own personality, so figure it out as best your can.
