Deceptive sales practices

Deceptive sales practices

It is only going to get worse

Here is one link on the subject: http://iwd.paladinregistry.com/category/deceptive-sales-practices/

Even "do not call"  federal and state lists are routinely ignored by too many of those who call with a sales pitch or even a lie. Fortunately, if one takes  the time and makes the effort, many of them can be fined. It does take time.

With our federal government now engaging in "lying as a way to rule" and using propaganda as another method of ruling, one can put both methods into the category of deceptive sales practices, also.

Hard economic times will most likely bring about more aggressive actions against law abiding citizens.  Even the Brady Bunch types have to eat.

In my opinion, dumbing down our population has contributed to the problem of increasing deceptive sales practices. Use your imagination. And then apply the facts.

Poor or non-existent screening of navigators for signing up citizens for Obamacare provides another reason to be concerned.  Even convicted felons can be navigators, for example.

Declining morals, the decline of the two parent home,  and the absence of shame only exacerbates the problems.

Aimless and all too often unsupervised teenage males often band together in ways that causes society a lot of problems.

There are now companies that make a business out of identity theft protection.

One obvious solution is the bottom up solution, like we the people make things better as best we can in our own ways, and over time. That includes the idea of voting in those who will fund more courts and jails and prisons to better protect the law abiding citizens. The top down solution is what has gotten us to where we are these days, in my opinion.

So celebrate your Christmas where you live, but keep your guard and "antennas" up, too.
