Boiling dough as a cooking method

Boiling dough as a cooking method

Step 1.  Come up with dough wherever you live and depending on the circumstances and situation at the time. Some may be able to buy it locally, others may have to make it from local means. It just depends on your situation and circumstances and preferences.

Step 2. Decide you want to boil it to cook it to then eat. At least cooking it kills most germs and viruses and parasites that may lurk in the dough you have. If you are not worried about that, then consider to just serve and eat the dough raw, or the original food source raw.

Step 3. Decide on how you want to boil the concoction.  Water is one obvious way, but one can make a broth to use for so many eating and energy advantages, too. Now one may have to catch squirrels or use a broth mix to make such a broth.

Step 4. Use some spices if you can.  Mostly spices boost the flavor and often help mask the "aroma" we humans often don't like.

Step 5. Serve it and have people eat it.

Think about how to keep it warm, too. Think about those on security patrol or fire watch, for example.

A lot of present foods are already made by boiling dough. Use pretzels or doughnuts or bagels  as examples.

Pursue your own links and efforts if this cooking method works for your situation, or appeals to you.
