A way of life is coming to an end

       The progressive and liberal ideas to make things better have failed after a century

            I always wondered what it was like during the first American Revolution as to what the people who cared even read or heard about.

            Now I have a sense. I call it these days.

            I also believe in the progressive and liberal ideas as wonderful ideas.....until it comes time to pay for them.

            Then they fail like so many other human ideas on the way to the dustbin of history. It only took us a century to figure it out. In the meantime, I also believe many of the past abuses have also improved quite a bit where I live, like in the USA.

            But we still think we should move forward, like to improve our quality of life as best we can for our children. Like the common saying suggests, it is truly about our children and our future expressed through them.

            There are alternatives to the failures of a century of progressive and liberal ideas.

            I sure hope we pursue them. And it will take time.  Patience can be a virtue in so many times, including the present times.

            It is kind of like evolution.  There is catastrophic evolution, and then there is gradual evolution. You figure out which way you want to go to our future.

            Last,  some may now suggest that change is always disruptive to society. Even I would agree with this simple principle. But life is often a little more complicated than just simple.
