Don't knock paint ball for home defense

            Six  obvious points come to my mind.

                        1) The USA Marines used it during mostly urban training, or did during my time some decades ago.

                        2) Most paint ball people have eye protection, because of the obvious, like if you get hit in an unprotected eye, you will suffer, and fear that. Getting hurt is bad...going blind in an eye is worse.

                        3)  Defending your turf is often just messing with the bad people's minds.

                        4) Paint ball shooting is often short range, like 50 M or less. So plan on that, I would suggest.

                        5) Paint ball, the sport,  has been around for decades. Even the local WalMart carries it in the sports area. Now many  paint ball guns do depend on CO2 cartridges, which will run out eventually. Of course the bad people don't know that, at least initially.

                        6) Paint ball people have some obvious skills that will help most anyone's home defense.

 

Nobody said it was going to be easy defending our home from the bad people, and even wildlife critters that try eat our garden food.
