               http://www.wikihow.com/Know-when-You-Need-a-Tetanus-Shot

The intent of this post is to suggest don't get sick. If you do get a "boo boo" treat it right off as best you can. In other words, kill the invading germs quickly as best you can. We all know "accidents" do and will happen.

Tetanus is one disease we cannot make reliable immunity for, in my opinion. Thank goodness we have other ways to kill invading germs, too.

During good times, do go to the local doctor to perhaps get a tetanus shot depending on his or her judgment. During hard times, do keep the wound treated as best you can, and keep the patient warm and hydrated as best you can. Tetanus is not infectious, like to the persons treating the hurt person.

Last, here is a wiki link on the subject:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tetanus
