Why? Often a picture is worth a thousand words.
And it does not need to be a paper map. It can even be a sand table, a paper
Mache model, a cardboard 3-D model, or something else you choose to do.

can be a traditional map, or something simpler like a diagram.

links: If you choose to go that route, there are many links you can go to. One
is the more traditional ESRI [Environmental Systems Research Institute,
Inc. (Esri)], and another is
Google Earth. Now most maps and overhead
photos of the internet kind depend on public electricity, too.
