How to plant cilantro from seed

How to plant cilantro from seed

The idea is just to grow some food (and some spices) from our land (which we can do if we have to), and go from there. Later ideas like "canning" and "preserving  food" will gain popularity,  mostly in effective ideas in order to just survive if that should come to be. Mostly that means preserving our food for future consumption.

Cilantro is a traditional way to spice up our food we eat. Spice traditionally also covers up the often  rotten smell and aroma in our food that is not preserved, or poorly preserved. Now Plan B also applies, like share our food with our community before it goes "bad".

Last, another name for cilantro is coriander. The present day connotation is that coriander refers to the seeds, while cilantro refers to the green stuff.

While many may think cilantro is from the New World, it is a wonderful herb that comes out of the Mediterranean  area,  and the Old World , in the end. I suspect it has earlier origins that I do not know about these days. Most references say it was a "wild" plant that enjoyed being domesticated, too.
