Of course it can (happen here in the
new world USA)
What does
the present earthquake terrible situation in Nepal have to do with we in the USA?
Mostly it
has to do with our present political leadership, which is already coming across
in the usual reporting as a bit amateur and very inexperienced. I still think
it (their authority) is often well intentioned in its applications, and most of
them work long hours and love their Families, and will also get a lot of us
killed in the end.
And then
locally, if some kind of mother nature event even like when the Yellowstone
Caldera lets go (it will happen sometime), and then these same present leaders
(both elected and appointed and hired) will most likely react vice act in some
kind of way to advance their own political objectives and home fires first. Usually tax payer money is involved, but even
that is about to run out, it seems. And many
of us will consequently die in both the immediate aftereffects, and the long
term effects, like from the reduced food growing season from all the probably
falling ash.
Is that what
we want in our new world USA? Is this going to become some kind of “Hunger
Games” movie scenario? Are we the people
still in charge, or is some other group, like our presently elected leaders and
appointed minions and even their hired workers still in charge? And will our
police and military still respond and adhere to their orders?
