Morale at Christmas and other holidays

Morale at Christmas and other holidays

When you’re away from home and loved ones small things can matter a lot.
Often it is military type deployments, but it can also be other things like having to work in some way during a Holiday.
Jobs that are 24/7/365 don’t let up. They have to be done, and somebody has to do them. God bless them all. I can think of the people who make our electrical energy, for example.
So if it is cold outside, even a warm broth drink can be a big deal, including the expectation of even receiving it at the end of one’s duty time.
And even a small Christmas tree with paltry decorations can be a big deal to so many who would otherwise go without.  Most of us like thinking we are special, which we are to our loved ones and many others, too. That they even thought of us, and especially if they appreciate whatever it is we are doing, is a thought that goes a long way and for a long time, usually well beyond the Holiday time. Good on ya if you can and do take the time to do this.
Said another way…..thank you.
