What happens if the regular citizens are smarter than many ruling bureaucrats?

I was laying in a hospital bed this last winter when a nurse quietly said a lot of people are asking this question.

I had posed the question to her, by the way.

And nobody has ever answered the question in any kind of satisfactory way to me.

As long as people work, pay taxes, and shut up, that is often good enough for many these days.

I myself will keep asking the question until I get what I think is a satisfactory answer.

In my opinion, now millions of people around the world will be dying before they expected to, and most don’t want that to happen to them and their children.  In many cases, the ruling bureaucrats and politicians will have something to do with contributing to this terrible situation, too. Sometimes it will just be attributed to them.

The average citizen is often smart and experienced enough to usually recognize all this.

Dinosaurs went down hard during the end of their time. I expect much the same happening to political parties and many governments these days.  Any change to the status quo is usually the cause. Casualties and early and miserable deaths to the citizens only accelerate it all, like changes to the status quo.
