1)
Our animals and pets can drink “human
dirty” water just fine. God made them that way.
Thank goodness.
2)
If the water is “bad”, then they
won’t drink it.
3)
There are many alternatives to any successful
water collection system. Drilled wells and sumps (both indoor and outdoor) come
to mind.
4)
Our animals and pets will always
figure out where their water to drink can be found.
5)
The threat of malaria (a mosquito
borne vector disease) exists in many places, and has to be dealt with, too.
6)
Water is always necessary for animals
and plants to live, and can also be thought of as a public health situation,
too.
7)
I once worked at a large plantation
where over 64 miles (103 kilometers) of ditches were dug just to help eradicate
the mosquitoes that carried malaria. Remember, it is usually standing swampy
type water that breeds mosquitoes. Even bird baths can breed mosquitoes.
