History of Toilet Paper
Here’s an
interesting link you may enjoy: http://nobodys-perfect.com/vtpm/exhibithall/informational/tphistory.html
Splinter
free toilet paper was not manufactured until the 1930’s in the USA, or so is
history reported.
Ouch, the
thought of getting splinters in my private areas just drives me wild.
Speaking for
myself, I have enough problems already.
Suddenly,
outhouses (privy’s) and other such ways to depose of our pee and poop may not
be too bad, all in all. After all, we do pee and poop, and we do need to get
rid of it before we get sick from it.
Last an old
joke is applicable. The fellow who built the place where I now live was
complaining about his grandchildren using too much toilet paper. Well, one
young kid remarked to him that perhaps they were the only people in the County
who even used toilet paper. That may
have been correct at the time (circa 1910 I guess).
