Maintenance

Maintenance

Most everything needs upkeep to maintain its working

The wiki link on the subject can be found at:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maintenance  This link to other links suggests all the kinds of maintenance we have to think about, sooner or later.

Even we humans need maintenance.  Think about water, food, and medical help, both preventive and corrective,  as good examples. I suspect the 300,000 people in a part of West Virginia that lost all uncontaminated water can say it in their own way, too.

So next time I complain, or you complain about something not working,  consider if you simply have not maintained it in a timely manner. Maintaining a car or tractor is one example. Maintaining a sink that does not leak is another example. Crawling under your house twice a year to check out the sump pump is another example. Clearing out the hair in drains is another example.  Digging a new bathroom hole in the ground is a further example. The examples could go on ad infinitum.

There will be a test. The test is called maintenance.
