            As a Marine, this book was a good primer for me, or so I believed.

            I had a friend from Afghanistan, who reported that a British lady he was aware of knew more about his Country's history than he did.

            I had a friend who served at the American embassy in Kabul. He reported he had personally visited remote valleys full of blond blue eyed people from past migrations into the Country of Afghanistan.

            The time frame was circa 1987.
