How to Perform an Enema at Home

In many of today’s societies, enemas are seldom taught or discussed anymore.

At age 66, I can remember when enemas were a more routine way to even take our internal temperature, among other uses. I myself did not like getting a mercury glass temperature gage inserted in my ass, but of course I lived through it, too. Later I better recognized how benign the whole procedure was.

So here is one link on using enemas, with pictures and graphics.

The idea is pretty simple, like saving lives and treating our ill as best we can.

Last, there are two main ways to stay hydrated, like as full of water as we can be. One is by ingestion, like drinking water and electrolyte type things (and not throwing it back up), and one is by enemas, including electrolyte type things, too.

Here is a wiki link on enemas, too:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enema
