Law of war
Now the law
of war is different from things like any Country’s domestic laws. Even more
human type emotions and societal standards, like retribution (payback if you
will), or how we treat our captured enemies or our own enlisted men, comes into
play, too.
And for
some, is the idea of war to preserve one’s standards now passé. The alternative
is to make all our enemies of America like American citizens when it comes to
fighting for ones (American in this case) beliefs, and applying the domestic
law. Now that should get interesting to follow, including our American
accession rates and retention rates when it comes to our military. Said another
way, does each soldier now rate his own lawyer paid for out of our public
treasury. Or suppose not enough people volunteer for their military? Like what
do we do then?
