Thitu Island
Just some background info
on this very little island in the South China sea: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thitu_Island
If you read the translation by the Chinese Daily Mail ( http://www.infowars.com/china-set-to-seize-south-china-sea-island-by-force/
) , the article is saying they will send in their Marines to seize the island
from the Filipinos, who have been there 40 years or so. Many others claim it ,
too.
Anyway, the intent is to provide some background, just in case;
and because the place has a runway.
I assume the Chinese objective is over the minerals under the
island and area, but don’t really know. Thitu
is in the Spratly Islands.
