This Madness is Coming to an End

This Madness is Coming to an End

The present status quo which most of us are used to is going to change.  Why?  Because it has to.

Fast forward twenty years, two decades if you will. Think the year 2034.

The decadence and arrogance of the culture in the northeastern USA will have come to an end in its influence. Those picking up the pieces will say it was obvious all along.  Those others who have to say "would you like fries with that order" will still not understand in many cases. Simply said, their known world and culture has changed right in front of them.  Just because they recreate and marry together and even immigrate into this region is no reason for the rest of us to follow them.  Now in fairness, this world worked for an extended period of time, but now the well is dry and this culture is bereft of productive ideas that will help "we the people".

Let me target certain groups.....the media and the academics.

I suspect future "news" reporting will be more like the news and less like the present editorials and personal political opinions of those who masquerade such as news.

I also suspect academia from outside this culture will gain new prominence and respect. That's the good news. The bad news is that they had better perform to make things better for the people and our children. The good news is that there are many smart people oozing with initiative and willing to step up to the plate.

Also I suspect the world's population will settle down, thought our world's standards of living and resulting demands will still increase for a while. More people needing and wanting  more electricity is a typical example.

Even dumbing down our populations and breaking up Families is becoming more obvious in the adverse consequences to so many.

Worse case,  we the people may descend into some kind of fascism and dictatorships, which always fail in the end, though many millions would have to die along the way. Keeping the transportation system running on time is not the same as running  a country and the people for their benefit.

So much effort and initiative still has to be done by those who both pick up the pieces, like work and make a living for themselves and their Families,  and then LEAD we the people to a more prosperous and hopeful future. An obvious example is the demise of the New York Times as others pick the wonderful writing in the sections other than the news and political opinions.

There is a better way. Some might call it better alternatives.

Either way, I sure expect change for the better, albeit with much work and initiative having to be taken to make "it happen". It might even have to take a third party in the USA.....

At least this madness is coming to an end.

That's a good start.
