Backyard Burning of PVC
Be careful what you burn and how you
burn things.
Just one
internet link for your info. How accurate this link and post is I do not

Poster’s comments:
I have some white PVC water pipe that
is broken up and needs to be removed and put away.
Now if you burn these PVC pieces at
home, be careful when you do it.
Burning PVC, if the wind is blowing
favorably (to you) produces some poisonous gases you can use to your advantage.
But if the wind should shift, be real careful in order to protect your health
and safety.
Consider burying the white PVC pieces
vice burning them in your backyard. But the PVC is still there, just out of
sight for the time being.
During good times, dispose of them
using your local systems and setup guidelines.
These comments are about burning PVC
pipe only. Many people use PVC pipe for
carrying drinking water, and that seems pretty safe these days.
