What Is the Real Unemployment Rate?

This article rates a link as it has many charts and graphs in it. Here's the link to this persons opinion:  http://pjmedia.com/blog/what-is-the-real-unemployment-rate/?singlepage=true

 Poster's comments:

1) Enough and different "food banks" suggest the next few months are going to be bad in the USA, like not enough food for those that depend on it.

2) I figure the "real" unemployment rate is a consideration for all that want to help their fellow humans, and try to plan on it. Said another way, I think the numbers are worse than is being reported by our Governments, especially our Federal government.

3)  I anticipate home security problems will go up as people throughout our land get hungry, and the results of malnutrition begin to assert themselves.

4)  I had better plan on harsh conditions, though I sure hope it is not as bad as I read about in the central Philippines after Typhoon Hayian came through.

5) It is one thing for a part of a Country to suffer, but if the whole region or world should suffer at the same time, then that is another problem to plan on. Many government employees will then probably be busy taking care of themselves and their Families as a priority. Even the idea of no work means no taxes which means no job or purchases and trade which means another problem to plan on.

6) In the meantime we might have extra people and Families to care for (really help as best we can), and children to educate for their own futures.

7) In any scenario, be it terrible, or more likely "muddle through" and "patch up" as best we can, the new world USA is a good place to start out and live in as we make things better, which will take time and will happen.

8) I can imagine "intrinsic" ideas like trust, faith, confidence, and religions, will grow in numbers and value, also.

9) During the Great Depression less than a century ago, somewhere around 20% to 25% were without work, or so I believe.

10) And all this imagination and worry just because of trust, faith, and confidence in our elected governments reported unemployment figures; and coming up with a number I can plan on reliably...like a number I trust.
