Write it down while you can

Write it down while you can

Record it while you can. Someone else can interpret it later.

"Gone but not forgotten" is an often used phrase when doing Family history. Sometimes people do get forgotten. What a shame if that should come to pass.

Something as simple as a Family reunion photo is common knowledge to those there, but decades or centuries later that is not the case quite often. So just write some names down to describe who we are looking at on any photo.  After all, their genes are often part of our genes.

Now I know we all often have "black sheep" in our heritage, but so what.  We are what we are, and that is more important in the present time.

Now anyone can complain about what they wished their ancestors had done during their time.  But the present time is a good time to do something about it while you can.

So just write it down while you can. Said another way, just record it as best you choose.
