Another eclipse of my heart
Back when I lived on the
beach in Hawaii, every so often we got up early to walk the beach to try being
first to find floating glass balls (used as fish net floats in Japan) that had
floated up onto the sand. They were collector’s items, often scaled with
barnacles.
It was silly in retrospect, and often the glass balls washed up
24/7. A sharp eye and luck helped a lot.
