Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria

Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria

A wiki link on the subject can be found at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coptic_Orthodox_Church_of_Alexandria

There are many other links on Coptic Christianity, too.

For those interested, the best I can figure after Jesus came the Coptic Church, the Catholic Church, and then later another offshoots under the banner of Protestant. Along the way the Gnostic Church got involved too. Earlier a lot of religions borrowed ideas from Zoroaster (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zoroastrianism), too.

The intent of this post is to suggest making up your own mind about what you believe and try practice, including Coptic Christianity. As for me, the Golden Rule seems to permeate about every church and religion throughout the world, both east and west in today's talk.

Common talk in the USA these days often includes the word "charity". That idea can apply to the individual, the Family, the Friends, and even the Community I guess.

I can imagine one's personal beliefs and personal upbringing and examples are also a very good glue to help one through their own difficult times, however that sorts out. This idea even emotes the idea of morality.

Now there will not be a test, by the way. Make up your own mind and beliefs.

By the way, I  just today spent a lot of time in the woods, and was most motivated by the beauty I observed.
