Would do you expect after we have dumbed down our young people?

Now there is nothing wrong with their parents, often very successful and very hard working in whatever they do. And often they even send their kids to very good (and expensive schools) to both educate them and provide them every advantage in life.

America should always be about meritocracy (we are oozing with smart young people), and then in that vein we parents can still nurture our own children as best we can, and then turn them loose, like let them fly the nest.
