What happens when you turn the electric light switch on, and nothing happens

What happens when you turn the electric light switch on, and nothing happens

Some of us plan ahead, some of us don't

There are plenty of other scenarios, too. Like you are notified not to come into work, because there is no work, and paycheck, too.

The way I read the tea leaves, that is what is coming in the next 10 to 15 years in the USA where I live. Bummer.

We are more dependent on getting our energy through the electric line than most may imagine, and will come to learn.

Will we survive without electricity. Of course we will. Will people, including our children, have long memories, most probably. Will these memories change our USA future, most probably. Do we need energy to survive, of course we do.

Will we suffer in the interim, also most probably.  Being cold and wet and miserable is a dog's life that seems to be coming to the USA. And on purpose, as crazy as that may sound today.

How could we do this to ourselves?  We voted for it, or at least put up with it.

Will the elite types try avoid the impacts on themselves and their Families? Probably. I would.

Could the time frame have changed? Of course. How about 100 years vice some politician and his political party trying to do it in his time in office (like 8 years).

Will it take time to reverse things? Of course. Will it be a long time, like a decade or more, probably.

Imagine the suffering that will go on during this extended period. I have, and I worry about it, mostly for my kids and grandkids.

Is there anything I can do right now My tea leaves say to suck it for now, and then execute in the near future.

For this coming winter, even thinking that short term, make sure you have enough extra clothes to try stay warm. Add in some wood stoves or similar things, including cooking stoves, too. The good news is without a job and the time to work, one can use the same time to cut and split forest wood, or break up local house wood,  to keep their Family warm enough, for example.

I suspect most don't won't to do this, but the way I read the tea leaves, most will learn how to put up with this way of life, even as we may change our way of being governed. In the end, it just will take time to affect our USA quality of life.

So, can we hope for the lights to go on when we turn the switch to "on" in 2025. Maybe, but it will take time. Talk about a communal effort over time, with lots of initiative and rewards and riches along the way. Is this idea some kind of communistic idea? No. It seems more like an American idea to this tea leaf reader.
