Shooting and aiming with iron sights
One alternative is to shoot and aim
with optical sights.
The main
idea is to learn what your weapon(s) use, and then practice with them as best
you can and when you can.
Even air
rifles and sling shots and cross bows
and taser guns usually have some way to aim, and known ranges of effectiveness,
too.
And you don't have to be a perfect aim. Getting the attention of the bad guys or bad girls is usually a good attention gainer, even if they are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Protecting your Family, and especially your loved ones, is a big deal.
